KMV's Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) celebrates innovation day

Jalandhar, October 16, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar celebrated Innovation Day to mark the birth anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. The event was organized by Institution's Innovation Council(IIC) of KMV established under MHRD, Government of India. During the celebrations, various competitions and events were organized such as Poster Making Competition, Business Plan Competition, Success story telling by alumni of KMV & a Preview of Short Film on innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives at KMV. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the students. More than 120 students participated in this event with full zeal and enthusiasm. It is important to mention that KMV has got a privilege to be selected among the few institutes all over the country for establishing Institution's Innovation Council (ICC) as per the norms of the MHRD Innovation Cell(MIC) of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The main aim of IIC at KMV will be to encourage young talented minds to participate in the entrepreneurial initiatives by providing them a perfect platform for showcasing their talents, working together as teams and to participate in various competitions. It will also create an innovative environment for the students to discover, develop and deploy their skills and talents. Principal Prof.( Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the innovative ideas exhibited by the students. She also motivated the students to develop innovative ideas exhibited by the students and inspired them to develop innovative business ideas which will make them financially independent as well as also increase the employment opportunities for the others. She also lauded the efforts of the Institution's Innovation Council(IIC) Team for successfully organizing the event which will inculcate the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit among the students.
