CT’s Virasat-e-Pradarshni kicks off at Sultanpur Lodhi
Jalandhar/Sultanpur, November 4, 2019: A ten day long Virasat-e-Pradarshni, an exhibition dedicated to 550 Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, organised by CT Group of Institutions with the support of Sewa Sankalp Society and administration kicked off today amidst soulful religious music, beautiful Guru Nanak paintings, pilgrims taking selfies with designed Punjabi village theme and children playing traditional games. The exhibition put up at Government Senior Secondary Schools for Boys Ground, Sultanpur was inaugurated by CT Group Chairman Charanjit S Channi, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh along with Inspector General of Police Naunihal Singh, IPS, Fateh Jung S Bajwa, MLA Kaddian and members of Sewa Sankalp Society and other officials from Administration. The exhibition showcases the beautiful paintings designed by students of Department of Architecture and Planning on life history of Guru Nanak along with models of Gurudwaras, the rich Punjabi Culture of a village designed by Sadda Pind Amritsar along with other associates. The exhibition includes the stalls of Coke, Paytm, VCN, HS Exports, Thind Machinery etc. Thousands of pilgrims visiting Gurudwara Sri Ber Sahib paid their visit in the exhibition on its first day. The children took selfies outside the selfie corner and played traditional games as well. Shruti H Kapur, Principal, Department of Architecture said, “The key objective of organising this exhibition is to display the hard work of students who have made exquisite paintings of Guru Nanak along with the presentation of documentation prepared by the department of entire city of Sultanpur.” CT Group Chairman Charanjit S Channi wished everyone on this pious occasion and said that this exhibition showcases the lost sheen of Punjabi culture and also highlights the life of Guru Nanak that many people are not acquainted with.
