Ludhiana, January 28, 2019: Under “Paani Mera Haani” initiative many programs were organized at Tajpur road, opposite Central Jail in Ludhiana. A Play on “Budha Dariya” written by Jaswant Zafar was also in acted.
A delegation of CICU core committee and environment improvement committee comprising, Mr.Upkar Singh Ahuja- President CICU, Mr.Pankaj Sharma- Gen Secretary, Mr.S.B. Singh- Joint Secretary, Mr.Jatinder Singh Manchanda, Convener of the Committee, Mr.Amarjeet Singh Bhurjee, Mr.Kulwant Singh Sall, Mr. Rajat Sood, Mr. Honey Sethi, Mr. Kanish Kaura, Mr. Gagandeep Singh & other members, attended this noble event. Sh. Paramjeet Singh, XEN, Punjab Pollution Control Board also was also present.
Mr. Upkar Singh Ahuja- President, CICU assured the gathering that from Industry side and assured whatever it needs to be done regarding Budha Dariya cleaning, CICU will take the lead to get it done. They also said that to clean Budha Nula Industry need to step forward & officials to take strict action against the miscreants.
CICU is working for reduction in use of Water in industry and resource conservation, which will lead to making industry environment friendly and sustainable growth of industry is priority of CICU and various training workshops are planned in near future for the same to aware the people.
This Program was also attended by teams of many NGOs & Schools to make this event successful.
