Workshop on button masala of sustainable clothing

Jalandhar, August 28, 2018: The Department of Design of Apeejay College of Fine Arts organised a one day workshop on the topic Button Masala of Sustainable Clothing. Jyoti Jain, Founder of famous ‘Nira’ Brand established in Panipat, was the resource person for the same. Talking about Button Masala technique, Jain told the gathering that the buttoned dresses can be made without using stitches. She referred to 100 different dresses with button and such dresses will both surprise and inspire the budding designers. Principal Dr.Sucharita expressed the view that such programs help the students in keeping abreast of the latest changes happening in the global market and in the design field in particular. She lauded the efforts of Head of department Mrs. Rajni Gupta and other faculty members Ms. Heena Kapoor, Ms. Rajni Kumar and Mr. Shubham Jain.
