National Undergraduate Medical Conference (NUMCON 2019) begins in DMCH

Ludhiana, April 25, 2019: Two-day National Undergraduate Medical Conference (NUMCON 2019) today began in DMCH with several hands-on training workshops, lectures and other interactive academic sessions.

The first day of the conference witnessed workshops on ‘Basic Surgical Skills’, Basic Clinical Skills, ‘Basic Life Support’, ‘Emergency & Critical Care’, ‘Orthopaedic Skills’, ‘Clinical Obstetrics’, ‘Cardiology’ ‘Radio diagnosis’ and ‘Basic Laboratory Skills’ conducted by distinguished faculty .

Secretary of DMCH Managing Society- Sh Prem Kumar Gupta lauded the efforts of student organizers and their faculty members in conducting the conference of such repute.

Principal of DMCH-Dr Sandeep Puri that today ‘NUMCON’ has entered its fourth consecutive year and it was the vision of management to give medical students a chance to learn from hands-on-training sessions and workshops and also give them an exposure of conducting conference of their own.

Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina said that with every passing year, NUMCON has gained prominence among the medicos of the state and different parts of the country including Haryana, Uttrakhand, Delhi, Maharashtra etc.

Siriesha of MBBS batch 2014, who is Organizing Secretary of NUMCON 2019 conference, said that all the students of different MBBS batches worked in absolute harmony and cordiality with each other to make this event a grand success.

The conference will be formally inaugurated on 26th April (Friday) at 10 am in Main Auditorium Hall of DMC College Campus.
