Income Tax Day celebrated at RGC

Ludhiana, July 25, 2019: P.G.Department of Commerce and Management of Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana organized a seminar on the importance of timely filing of Income Tax Return and various benefits attached to it.

On this occasion, Apul Jayaswal, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax Range-4 Ludhiana was the key note speaker.

Rajiv Puri, Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax also marked his presence. The guests were given a floral welcome.

Addressing the students, Apul said that the payment of the income tax is very important for the growth and prosperity of any nation.

To celebrate “Income Tax Day”, Rajiv Puri and Income tax department conducted plantation drive in the college.

Students administered oath to become active participants of “Clean India, Clean Money Movement”.

Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur appreciated the efforts made by Income Tax department and said that student should be responsible citizens and contribute to spreading awareness about paying income tax regularly and honestly for the betterment of the society.

Ajit Kaur Head, Department of Commerce gave vote of thanks to the eminent guest for creating awareness among the students.
