Innocent Hearts Paid Homage to the Saviors of India by Planting Saplings in their Names
Jalandhar, August 21, 2018: The students belonging to Eco- Club of Innocent Hearts School paid tribute to those who fought for the freedom of the nation by planting saplings in their names. Students of all branches of Innocent Hearts observed the Independence Week in a novel way by planting medicinal plants to not only take care of the atmosphere but also commemorate those responsible for our freedom and keep their deeds in the fore front of our minds. This will keep the younger generation in touch with the sons of the soil such as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Udham Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Lala Lajpat Rai and Kartar Singh Sarabha and also acquaint them with gardening as an option to serve the society by keeping the environment clean and green. This exercise make them aware of the benefits of these plants which would help them understand that nature is to be nurtured not destroyed. Director Principal Schools- Mr. Dheeraj Banati and Vice Principal and Cultural Head – Mrs. Sharmila Nakra motivated the students to serve mankind while keeping in touch with their roots.
