One can lead a positive life if he has positive thoughts: Amrit Kalsi

Jalandhar, July 27, 2019: Under the Centre of Happiness and Well Being, CT Group of Institutions organised a workshop on thought processes at its Shahpur campus. The participants for the workshop remained media people from different print and electronic media organizations. The key speaker for the workshop remained Amrit Kalsi, Head of Department who has years of training experience.

Amrit started the session with role of thoughts in making or breaking one’s life. She divided the thought processes into 7 different categories. Telling about the same, she explained, “We regularly take care of the materialistic things like servicing of cars, changing screen guards of our mobile phones etc but we never take care of our own self-service. So, we must take out 5 minutes in a day to know ourselves and of our daily routine. For this, we should start working on our thoughts which are divided into seven.”

Further elaborating on the thoughts, she said, “There are different types of thoughts like toxic, positive, negative, waste, necessary, right and elevated. We must start practicing on our thoughts and think positive thoughts in order to live a positive, contended and a happy life. We should spread happiness through smiles and by helping others without expecting anything in return.”

CT Group Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi also attended the workshop along with other dignitaries of the campus.

CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh said that this is for the very first time that we have organised such workshop for media fraternity as it is quite necessary for them too to know themselves personally besides working for the betterment of the society on daily basis.
