Career Exhibition organised at Jawahar Navodaya Vidalaya

Chandigarh, May 5, 2017: A Career Exhibition was organised today at Jawahar Navodaya Vidalaya, Sector-25, Chandigarh by the students of M.Ed.(Guidance & Counselling) from Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh under the supervision of Dr.Kirandeep Singh.

Various career options such as Architecture, Nursing, Social worker, Food processing as a small scale industry, ONGC, Physiotherapist, Dentist, Food inspector, Astronaut, Interior designer, Air hostess, Horticulture, Merchant navy, Choreographer, School teacher , Indian army, Hotel management, Lawyer, Computer science engineer, Electrical engineer, Digital marketing, Botanist, Agriculture inspector, Dress designer, Chef, Translator, Psychologist, Singer, Special educator,

Information regarding all these careers was disseminated to students through detailed Career Talks on preceeding four days.

The Career exhibition was beneficial for all who have to make relevant career related decisions at secondary and senior secondary stage. It was visited by citizens, students of the city along with large number of students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of Patiala, Bhatinda, Ropar and Chandigarh.
The Principal, Vice-Principal and staff of school showed keen interest and appreciated the efforts of university students in disseminating information related to such a large number of career options to the school students.
