HMV students shine in Journalism and Media Exam

Jalandhar, June 6, 2017: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is running one year Diploma in Journalism and Media under Community College Scheme of UGC. All the students of Diploma in Journalism and Media have passed their exam of Media and Entertainment Sector Skill Council with good marks. As per the guidelines of UGC, scholarships were given to these students. Principal Prof.Dr.(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gave the scholarships to the students under Community College Scheme and congratulated them for good marks.
Principal Prof.Dr.(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen told that students Rajni, Bhawna, Amandeep, Harjinder, Kamlesh, Manpreet Kaur, Meetu, Aakriti, Ritika, Amanjot and Kulwinderjit Kaur got their certificates of Media and Entertainment Sector Skill Council. She told that under this course Reporting, Radio Production, TV Production and Photojournalism are taught to the students. The eligibility of this course is SSC II and there is no age limit of taking admission in this course. In this batch of students there were married ladies too as students and after doing hard work and under the guidance of their teachers, they have cleared the exam of Sector Skill Council.
The students were happy after getting scholarship amount.
On this occasion, Head of Mass Communication Department Mrs.Rama Sharma was also present.
