AAP volunteers plant thousands of saplings in different areas of Ludhiana

Ludhiana, July 20, 2014: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader H.S.Phoolka lead a huge number of the party volunteers in the earth hour today during the plantation drive undertaken by Ludhiana residents under the initiative of `Sambhav’ and VMAD.

Along with team of Baba Sewa Singh from Khadoor Sahib,  Phoolka inaugurated the drive at Gurmat Gyan Missionary College, Phulanwal. He then lead the residents of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, F Block in planting nearly 500 saplings.

AAP Volunteers lead by Phoolka also undertook this plantation drive at Labour Colony, Gill Road where the area was first cleaned and then plantation was done to better the living conditions of the residents.

An awareness march was also taken out at Aggar Nagar Society Block B by AAP Volunteers and Phoolka with the team of Baba Sewa Singh after planting nearly 300 trees in Aggar Nagar.

According to Phoolka “Until and unless we take care of Nature, we will not be able to sustain life and thus it is very necessary that we plant as many trees as possible and maintain them”.

The other main areas where saplings were planted by AAP Volunteers include GRD Academy, Tagore Public School, Sacred Heart Convent School Sarabha Nagar, Devgun Convent School, Dhandra Road, Bhutta College of Engineering, Guru Nanak International Public School, Gujjarkhan Campus, Model Town, Govt School Haibowal, Punjab Mata Nagar, Sant Sunder Singh Colony, Nirankari Bhawan, New Rajapur Village, Hambran Road, Model House, Housing Board Colony BRS Nagar, Govind Welfare Society, Wards 38 and 21 Haibowal, Guru Nanak Welfare Society, Balmiki Colony SBS Nagar, Sanchar Colony, Murti Agro Foods, RBS roots, Dugri Bridge, Sai Enclave, Bawa Enclave, G Block SBS Nagar and Alamgir./punjab news, ludhiana news, india news,
