Ludhiana, June 27, 2014: The Indian Doctors for Peace and Development (IDPD) is anguished at the chaos in the admission in the medical colleges in Punjab. Any decision in regard to the admission process should be taken well on time preferably one year before so that no such problem is faced by the students at the last moment. Such situations put the young students into extreme stress. IDPD has demanded immediate solution so that the career of the students is not put at stake. There is need for urgent long term policy for the admission to the medical colleges. The Medical Council of India should take a logical decision in this regard, said the IDPD president Dr L S Chawla and Dr Arun Mitra.
