Nuh (Mewat),Haryana, February 22, 2014: Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul have called upon the advocates to come forward and help in getting justice to the poor at reasonable cost and in less time.

Hooda and Justice Kaul on Saturday inaugurated judicial Courts Complex at Nuh, district headquarter of Mewat. The complex has been built at a cost of Rs.31.37 crore. They also inaugurated the District Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre.

Addressing the gathering, Justice Kaul asked the advocates to work with attitude of service and also see that the poor and the needy get justice at reasonable cost. He also asked them to help in clearing the long pending cases in the courts.  He expressed hope that the newly built judicial complex and District Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, will be helpful in speedy disposal of cases.

Hooda said that Haryana Government is making all efforts to provide better judicial infrastructure in the State. The first mobile court was started from Mewat in Haryana, he said. He asked the advocates to charge less fee from the poor and the needy. Advocates should not only concentrate on their earning from their legal practice, but should also show right direction to the society. Advocates like Mahatma Gandhi, Moti Lal Nehru, Lala Lajpat Rai and Pt. Jawahar Nal Nehru played significant role during freedom struggle, he said Lauding the Mewat region as land of martyrs and patriots, Mr Hooda said that the State Government has implemented a number of schemes for the development of the area.

Hooda announced to give Rs.21 lakh for purchasing books and furniture for the library of the new Judicial Complex.

Earlier, the judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court and the Executive Chairman of Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HSLSA) S.K. Mittal stressed on providing speedy justice to women and providing them better  education. About the District Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, he said that it will be helpful in expediting the cases.

The Judge Dr Bharat Bhushan Prasoon also addressed the function.

Those present on this occasion included Transport Minister,  Aftab Ahmed, Justice M.S. Chauhan, Justice Rameshwar Singh Malik, Justice Paramjeet Singh, Justice R.C. Gupta, Justice R.K.Jain, District and Session Judge D.S. Sheoran, Additional District and Session Judges H.S.
