Vigilance Awareness Week observed at PU
Chandigarh November 1, 2019: Department of Life Long Learning & Extension, Panjab University, Chandigarh in the wake of continuing Vigilance Awareness Week, organized a lecture here today, Dr.P.S.Kang, Chairperson explained the meaning and connotation of the word “Vigilance”. He highlighted that to be vigilant means to be alert and aware about the happenings around us. He exhorted the participants not to let anyone usurp their rights, not to allow any corruption in the personal and public life, and to raise voice against any wrong-doing that come to their notice. Earlier, the Department conducted “Declamation Contest” on the theme ‘Integrity- A Way of Life’ at Sehjjot Senior Secondary School, Dhanas, UT, Chandigarh. The Chairperson, Faculty Members, Prof. Sween and Prof. Prabha Vig alongwith Teachers, students and some youth from the community participated in the Declamation Contest.
