Valediction of the 2-day Pre tech Fest Workshop at DAVIET

Jalandhar, March 7, 2019: A very successful two day workshop organized by the Department of Information Technology under the leadership of Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar and head of Department of I.T Dr Dinesh Kumar came to its valediction here at DAVIET, Jalandhar. Dr Dinesh Kumar, HOD (IT Department) thanked the Experts for their precious time to deliver their knowledge and share their wisdom with the students. He told that the main objective of this Workshop is to familiarize students with the cutting edge technologies and to train them in various programming languages and web development which will help them ahead in their career. He hoped that such workshops will be organized at regular intervals in the college which will help the students in their future endeavors. The aim of this workshop was to expert students in REACT and Ruby on Rails. Principal, DAVIET Dr. Manoj Kumar congratulated the Head of Information Technology Department Dr. Dinesh Kumar and other faculty members for the successful completion of this Workshop and also motivated them to organize such workshops, seminars and Expert Talks in future as well. In the beginning. The motive of this Workshop was to inform the students about the gap between the college curriculum and the real time work that is carried out in the Industry these days. More than 100 students of IT department attended the workshop and received the certificates in the concluding ceremony.
