Vajra Corps Organises Pension Adalat For Ex- Servicemen

Jalandhar, January 29, 2016: The ‘Pension Adalat’ was organised on 29 January 2016 at Vajra Sainik Institute, Jalandhar Cantt, with the aim to resolve Pension anomalies of ex- servicemen of Distt Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Beas & Phagwara, who are drawing pension from branches of Punjab National Bank.

The ‘Pension Adalat’ commenced at 1000h with opening address by a senior officer of Vajra Corps, followed by Mr Anil Sharma, General Manager of Jalandhar Circle, Punjab National Bank. The ‘Pension Adalat’ witnessed heavy footfall of pensioners including veer naris and widows. Large number of anomalies were resolved at the spot and some were mitigated in the PNB extension counter in Sadar Bazar.
