Vacancy of Clerk to be filled on Seniority-cum-merit basis

Departments instructed to send record of interested employees

Chandigarh, February 26, 2015: The Punjab Government has notified a vacancy of clerk in the office of Legal Remembrancer and Secretary, Legal and Legislative Affairs Department. This vacancy is to be filled against the general from amongst the clerks serving in the other departments on seniority-cum-merit basis through transfer.

Stating this, an official spokesperson said that the candidate should possess the bachelor’s degree with requisite computer course and should have passed the test of typing 30 w.p.m. in English. According to the spokesperson, a communication in this regard has been sent to all the departments to send the entire record of interested employees by 25th March to Legal Remembrancer and Secretary, Government of Punjab, Room No. 25, 4th Floor, Punjab Civil Secretariat, Sector-1, Chandigarh.
