Students participate in 2-Day Cultural, Literary & Fine Arts Extravaganza at GGNIMT, Ludhiana on Friday.
Ludhiana, August 14, 2015: GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines conclude with its two day cultural, literary and fine arts extravaganza here today.
The fiesta witnessed a series of team events on its second day. The mindboggling group dances, salad making and admad show showcased coordination and high team spirits. The IT quiz challenged many witty minds and demonstrated perfect team play.The students wandered all around the campus to get a perfect click of the colors during the theme based (COLOR) still photography event. The mehndi and cartooning events displayed the innovative ideas and sharp imagination of the students. Declamation on the topics: Digital Divide, Make in India, Women empowerment, digital India was a great delight. The budding programmers tried their logic skills during the code building event.The star attraction of the day was the event: Fashion Show. As many as nineteen teams participated in the event and walked down the ramp in complete style and attitude with theme based attires.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Co-ordinator, GGNIMT congratulated the students for putting up a great show. He urged them to participate in extracurricular activities for their all round personality development. Principal Dr. P. S Khattra motivated the students for the brilliant performance.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony. The prizes for the events were as follows:
