Ludhiana, August 13, 2015: GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines began with its two day cultural, literary and fine arts extravaganza here today.

The first day of the fiesta kicked off to a very enthusiastic start. Prof.Manjit Singh Chhabra,    Co-ordinator , GGNIMT inaugurated the festival and inspired the students for a whole hearted participation in such co-curricular activities for developing into complete personalities.

This was followed by the first event of the day -solo song. As many as 50 students participated in the event. The melodious voices of the participants won many hearts. The students brought out their vivid imagination and creativity in the theme-based events of Creative Writing (Theme: Freedom, Religion &Science) and Painting (Theme: National Integration) and gave a tough time to the judges. Theme based Rangoli and Collage events added colors and     ingenuity to the event. The students showcased their wit and wisdom during the Business Quiz event. The Paper Presentation event witnessed sharp presentation skills amongst the participants. The budding programmers tried their hands at Debugging event and successfully trouble shooted the codes. The event of instrument playing attracted the music lovers and demonstrated melody music through a series of   instruments like guitar, tabla, flute and harmonium. Solo dance was the star event of the day with as many as 60 participants. The participants showcased different forms and styles of dancing making it harer for the judges to declare the winner.

Principal Dr. P. S Khattra   while talking to the media said that such events break the monotony of studies and refreshes the students along with honing their skills.
