Science is Fun activity held in DIPS Tanda

Jalandhar, May 17, 2015: Science is Fun activity was held in DIPS Tanda recenrly. This activity was organized by activity in-charge under the observation of principal mam Ms Divya chawala The class teacher of Nry painted a CD with seven colors by dividing the CD into seven equal sections. She rotated the disc to show that white color is combination of seven colors. She filled the disc with seven colors of rainbow i.e. VIBGYOR. When she rotated the disc, seven colors disappeared and only white color was visible. Another activity was how to charge an object with friction. For this activity she rubbed a plastic comb with a woolen cloth and brought this comb near small pieces of paper. Comb attracted papers. Students were very excited to see it and it was just like a magic for them. In KG class, there is an activity to show the presence of air everywhere and how its pressure controls the flow of water. In PREP class, teacher gave knowledge to students about primary and secondary colors. Another activity was related to make bubbles with soapy liquid. On this occasion students from 8th standard to 12th standard prepared different science models and showed their talent . Everyone liked and praised their models

All the students enjoyed these activities and were very happy. In the end Principal appreciated the efforts of Pre-Wing Teachers.
