Talwandi Sabo, April 1, 2015: NSS Unit and Guru Gobind Singh College of Education of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo organised an expert lecture on AIDS Awareness in the Campus.
Dr N.S Malhi Vice Chancellor Guru Kashi University graced the occasion as Chief Guest whereas Narinder Bassi (UN AIDS Civil Society Awardee & State Awardee) was the keynote speaker of the programme.
Dr. A.K. Kansal, Dean, Education College welcomed chief guest, speakers and audience.
Bassi during his address shared history of this social evil since inception and also discussed the measures to root out it from the society. Team members of Bassi, Kamal Dutt Sharma and Anupam Pushkar also shared valuable information during the programme. AIDS Awareness team also distributed valuable literature among the students to guide themselves and the society as well.
