Sangat Darshan In Payal Constituency From December 10- Dr Atwal

Ludhiana, December 4, 2015: Punjab Vidhan Sabha speaker Dr Charanjit Singh Atwal has informed that a series of Sangat Darshan programmes in his constituency would start from December 10 onwards, wherein he would be personally meeting all the villagers in a phased manner. Dr Atwal said this while speaking to media persons after attending a series of meetings at Malaud and Doraha today.

      Dr Atwal said that overall development of Payal constituency is his main agenda and that is why today's meetings were organised. He said that he held detailed talks with Sarpanches and Panches of his constituency about the ongoing development works and welfare schemes.

     He said that from December 10 onwards, he would be holding Sangat Darshan programmes in Payal constituency. He informed that during today's meetings, he had detailed discussions with the Sarpanches and Panches of his constituency as well as government officials who are implementing those schemes and projects.

     "I have personally urged the Sarpanches and Panches to point out any problems without any hesitation and assured them that their issues would be sorted out on priority basis," said Dr Atwal. He informed that he has never meted step motherly treatment towards villages having Congress sarpanches. "For me, all my constituency residents are like family and their problems and issues are my own," he said.

      He also thanked the Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal for granting status of Block to Malaud. He said that the village ponds of the constituency would be cleaned by granting special funds and the villagers would be trained in dairy and fisheries.

     Ex MLA Mr Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal thanked the villagers who participated in today's meetings in large numbers and said that within next few months, the Payal constituency would emerge as the number one constituency of the state.
