SDM Jagraon Installs Complaint Box Outside His Office

Jagraon (Ludhiana), April 24, 2015: For providing a transparent and fair administration, Rakesh Popli, SDM of Jagraon town of district has installed a complaint box outside his office. This complaint box has been installed yesterday and will be directly under the control of SDM himself.  He said that the keys of this complaint box would remain directly with him.

While giving information, Rakesh Popli, SDM, Jagraon, informed that this is the first complaint box installed in Jagraon and soon, such boxes would also be installed in other parts of the town.

He said that if any resident is having any problem or grievance regarding anything, he or she can drop the complaint without any hesitation in the complaint box. He said that the complainant';s identity would be kept secret. He urged the residents to avail of this facility so that the district administration is able to provide fair and transparent administration.

SDM Rakesh Popli informed that the residents can complain about any government department or government official. He said that if any person is having any complaint against the SDM office, it can also be submitted in the complaint box. "This complaint box has been installed in the SDM office as it is Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal';s dream project," informed the SDM.
