Apeejay School Students shine in environment education programme

Jalandhar, May 4, 2024: In a testament to their creativity and commitment to environmental conservation, students from Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar showcased remarkable achievements at the recent Environment Education Programme organized by Doaba College, Jalandhar. The event served as a platform for young minds to delve into critical environmental issues and propose innovative solutions.

Arnav Sharma and Khushi Sharma, both from Class VIII, emerged as the champions, securing the first position in the "Best Out of Waste" competition themed 'Waste to Wealth'. Their project exemplified the ingenious transformation of waste materials into valuable resources, highlighting the importance of recycling and sustainability.

Janvi Sharma, also from Class VIII, exhibited exceptional oratory skills, clinching the second position in the declamation contest. Her presentation on the crucial topic of "Biodiversity and its Conservation" resonated with the audience, shedding light on the urgent need for biodiversity preservation.

Palak Mittal, another talented student from Class VIII, secured the third position in the poster-making competition. Her artwork, themed 'Art in Science', captivated the spectators, blending artistic expression with scientific concepts to advocate for environmental awareness.

Deepti Kaushal, the coordinator of the School, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the winners, acknowledging their dedication and innovative spirit.
