JALANDHAR, May 8, 2018: Rakesh Rathour, ex-mayor Municipal Corporation Jalandhar has been appointed as general secretary of BJP Punjab. A large number of party workers reached his Residence at Deen Dayal Upadhiay Nagar Jalandhar to congratulate him on the occasion. There was an environment of joy there.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Rathour thanked party high command,especially Amit Shah , National President of party, Sh.Prabhat Jha, in-charge party affairs in Punjab, Shwait Malik president BJP Punjab Dinesh kumar general secretary organisation for putting faith on him for this post of great responsibility. He said that he will give his best to come upto the expectations of the party high command and will do full justice with the new responsibility .
He further said that PM Narendra Modi government's policies will be implemented in letter and spirit and party workers and general public will be educated about these policies so that they can avail the benefits of the policies .
He was not only hopeful but also confident that in 2019 SAD - BJP will win all the 13 seats in Punjab.
