PAU Invites Applications For Admission To 6-Month Certificate Course

Ludhiana, June 27, 2016: The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has invited applications for admission to six-month “Certificate Course in Commercial Plant Tissue Culture” in the School of Agricultural Biotechnology, PAU.
Giving details, Dr K.S. Thind, Director, School of Agricultural Biotechnology, said the course will commence from July 28, 2016and the admission will be made in the first semester of the academic session 2016-17. The total number of seats is 30 and the course fee is Rs 12,100/- without hostel accommodation, he told. The applicant should be at least 10+2 pass in any stream and there is no age bar for admission to this course, he added.
The application form is available with the Director, School of Agricultural Biotechnology, PAU and is also available at PAU website www.pau.edu, he informed. The last date for the receipt of duly filled-up application forms in the office of the Director, School of Agricultural Biotechnology, PAU, Ludhiana isJuly 15, 2016 upto 5.00 p.m, he said. The interview of the eligible candidates will be held on July 26, 2016 in the committee room number 1 of Dean, College of Agriculture, PAU, Ludhianaat9.00 a.m., he told. Candidates must bring original certificates at the time of interview, he said, while adding that no TA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
