Anjali represented India in 9th South Asian Universities Youth Festival

Jalandhar, April 1, 2016: Anjali, a Fine Arts student of Lyallpur Khalsa College proudly represented the country in the 9th South Asian Universities Youth Festival organized by the Association of Indian Universities at Sahib Bheem Rao Ambedkar University,Lucknow. She participated in the Clay-Modeling event under the flag of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar. College Principal Dr.G.S.Samra lauded the fact that participation in such a prestigious event is a huge triumph in itself. The College ECA Dean Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu appended the fact that the Clay-Modeling team of the college bagged first position in their event while representing Guru Nanak Dev University in the session 2014-15 as well. This achievement led to the selection of college team to represent the University in the recently concluded 9th South Asian Youth fest.
The President of the college Governing Council, Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Joint Secretary S. Jaspal Singh Waraich congratulated Anjali on this achievement and hoped that she would continue to successfully represent the college in such events.
