NSS Camp Concludes At Katani Kalan Village

Ludhiana, November 4, 2015: A seven-day NSS camp by the unit of Guru Nanak National College, Doraha, was organised at village Katani Kalan and Mr Davinder Singh Lotey, Assistant Director, Youth Services, was the chief guest on the concluding day. On this occasion, Mr Lotey educated the students about the importance of NSS and also briefed them about the activities of youth services department. He also urged them to stay away from social evils such as drug abuse, dowry and others. The NSS volunteers also staged a nukkad natak on the occasion. Prominent among those present on the occasion included village sarpanch, other panchayat members, Prof Sukhwinder Singh Virk, Prof Jagroop Singh, Prof Sompal Heera, Mr Baljit Singh, besides several others.
