Jalandhar, October 13, 2015: A team of Police Community Welfare Suwidha Center conducted a seminar for the students of class XI and XII at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town. On this occasion, Dr H.S Lamba explained the students about the effects of drugs. He explained that drugs disable us physically and mentally. After this Inspector Narinder Singh Minhas- the incharge of Saanjh Kender mentioned to the students that many facilities are available by the Community Police Service Center in Suwidha Center to get any information and to register any complaint. They showed a documentary to them in the same reference. The students watched that documentary with the great interest. A member of Saanjh Kender - Mr. Naveen Arora explained that all the information is available online in these days and the information of any crime can be troublesome for the concerned in future. Now any criminal can’t get escaped from the police. A member of All India Anti Corruption Committee (Delhi) - Mr. Vikram Bhandari was along with them. On this occasion ASI – Mr. Lakhwinder Singh, HC- Mr. Baljinder Singh were also present. A member of Traffic Education Cell – Mr. Samsher Singh explained the traffic rules to the students in an interesting way and told the students about the importance of Helmet. He also motivated the students to follow the rules sincerely which can help them to avoid accidents and to save their family to face any tragedy. They should keep a check on the speed of their vehicles while driving. The Director Principal -Mr. Dheeraj Banati gave a souvenir to Dr. H S Lamba, Dr. Tarsem , and Inspector Narinder Singh Minhas and thanked them. The stage was conducted by Prof. Ambika. She thanked all the members of Saanjh Kender for sharing such important information which can be beneficial for the students in their future too.
