Hooda requests Governor for immediate dissolve of Haryana Assembly, impose President's rule and call for fresh election

Jhajjar, May 9, 2024: Congress Candidate from Rohtak Lok Sabha Deepender Hooda said the Haryana Governor should take cognizance of the present political situation in the state and dissolve the Haryana assembly and call for fresh elections as the BJP government in Haryana has no right to remain in power.

Deepender said three independent MLAs in Haryana have withdrawn their support from the BJP government and supported the Congress, due to which the current BJP government in the state has come into minority. This minority government no longer has any moral right to remain in power.

He said that for majority in the 88-member House, support of 45 MLAs is necessary, whereas BJP does not have more than 42 MLAs. He demanded from the Governor of Haryana to take cognizance of this matter, dissolve the Haryana Assembly and immediately impose President's rule and conduct fresh elections.

He said that this election is not an ordinary election as BJP is attacking the Constitution. The people of Haryana have decided for change, now they will change this government itself.

Deependder today visited Babra, Dawla, Raiya, Hasanpur, Kunji, Shahjapur, Bilochpura, Bhindawas, Fatehpuri, Surehati, Samaspur Majra, Kasni, Chandol, Dhakala, Subana, Sarola, Chappar, Nyola, Jaitpur, Mubarikpur, Tumbahedi Dharoli, Jatwada, Babepur, Girdharpur villages of Badli constituency, along with MLA Kuldeep Vats. He appealed for votes for the Congress and sought their support for ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking at the public meetings, Deepender said that during his tenure, bypasses were built in 17 cities including Badli, Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Meham, Kosli, Rohtak, Kalanaur, Sampla. He said bypasses of Chhuchhakwas, Matan, Subana and Beri were approved by the NCR Planning Board, but the BJP government could not even get 4 approved bypasses built in 10 years.

He also expressed anger over the sanctioned projects of the area going out of the state. He said that in 9 and a half years, Haryana has become a victim of corruption and has become the number one state in the country in unemployment. “Due to unemployment and despair, the youth are falling into the trap of drugs and crime. Only scams are being done in the name of recruitment by HSSC and HPSC. More than 30 papers have been leaked so far,” he said.

“BJP-JJP made an agreement in the name of old age pension of Rs 5100 and 75 percent reservation for the youth of Haryana, but neither did anyone get old age pension of Rs 5100, nor did they get 75 percent reservation. On the contrary, most of those who were getting old age pension lost their pension, while this government pushed the youth into the pit of unemployment,” he stated.

“The agreement between BJP-JJP was not about pension or reservation but to jointly loot Haryana and get their corruption files closed. BJP-JJP divided departments among themselves and looted the state. There is huge resentment among the people against this government in the entire state,” he added.

“Seeing this resentment, BJP changed the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and all the ministers and even changed the alliance before the elections. But now nothing will be done by changing faces, the people of Haryana are eagerly waiting for the voting day on 25th May to take revenge from this government. Today, there is only one voice in the entire state that BJP is going and Congress is coming,” he added.
