Amritsar, October 25, 2014: Thousands of migrants from other states in Punjab attended the Vishwkarama Day celebrations programme organised by Jansewa Samiti Amritsar here today.
Addressing the large gathering Bhojpuri singer and actor and BJP M.P from Delhi Manoj Tewari said that they are Indians first. He pointed out that nobody should be discriminated on the base of state, caste or language. He said they all should pledge for a developed and unity of the country, adding only with this way the country can be progressed and prosperous in a real manner. He said everyone should extend love and affection to each other.
Punjab Minister for Local Bodies and Medical Education and Research Anil Joshi, BJP national secretary Tarun Chug were also present and discussion for welfare of migrants.
Chairman of the Jansewa Samiti, Amritsar Master Rakesh thanked the guests. Punjab State R.S.S Pracharak Kishore Kant, BJP Punjab Migration Cell Co- Convener Rajan Jha and others were present.
