The Music and Theatre workshop, CMCH Ludhiana presents the first show of its adaptation of ‘SHREK-The Musical’ on Saturday.
Ludhiana, March 22, 2014: The Music and Theatre workshop, Christian Medical College and Hospital Ludhiana presented the first show of its adaptation of ‘SHREK-The Musical’ on Saturday at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan.
The audience was spell bound by the dazzling back-drops and the colourful and pain-stakingly designed costumes which were all put together and managed by the students themselves. The audience also heartily applauded the excellent music and live singing conducted by Eric Williams (MBBS). Manu Kurien as Shrek, Jasmine Baluja as Princess Fiona, Sajeev as the talking Donkey and Karan Pramod as the Lord of Duloc led the 50 man strong cast in a spectacular performance.
This year, about 160 students are actively involved in the cast and crew of ‘SHREK-The Musical’. The proceeds of this Musical will go towards the benefit of patients treated at Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, who need financial help.
