Jalandhar, January 21, 2013: In Jalandhar, it is for the second time when body of a newborn baby was found.
A few weeks earlier, the body of a newborn baby girl was recovered from a vacant plot from the dense grass.
Now, a newborn baby was found wrapped in a cloth, torn out by the street dogs in a nullah near, Basti Bawa Khel, spotted by passersby.
Sarabjit Singh, ACP and Makhan Singh SHO of the area rushed the Nullah site and recovered the body. The baby was about one week old, said the police.
The police are making further investigations in this regard.
The body of the baby has been sent for postmortem to the Civil Hospital.
