National Lok Adalat on November 23 at Moga and Nihal Singh Wala

Ferozepur, November 11, 2013:  The National Lok Adalats are being organised throughout the country on November 23 and in that context, the Lok Adalats will be held at Moga and Nihal Singh Wala sub divisions in Moga district.  This information was given by District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Service Authority, Karamjit Singh.

Giving more information in this regards, he said, there is a great enthusiasm among the people with regard to the working of  Lok Adalats as the decisions in these adalats are settled amicably and in the minimum possible time which will save both, time and money.

It is pertinent to mention here that the lok adalats at the national level are being organised in all the courts on same day. He appealed to the people to get benefit from these lok adalats to get early and cheap justice.

Neetika Verma, Civil Judge Senior Division-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Moga said, in these lok adalats all types of cases will be heard like civil, marital dispute, motor accident claims, criminal cases at the verge of decision, owner-tenant dispute cases, banks, electricity board and cases relating to various departments, cheque bounce cases etc.  She further said, the cases at the pre-litigation stage apart from the cases already going in these courts, would also be heard. Any person or institution or department can contact in the office on any working day for filing of case before the lok adalats.
