Jaisinghpur (Kangra), November 28, 2013: The medical experts dealing with the most deadly diseases in the country are of view that Mycobacterium Tuberculosis causing TB infects more than 5000 people daily in the country. Dr. S.K.Bhatiya said that that department was running National Program for Tuberculosis eradication to fight with this disease, considers most fatal but curable.
“ The people should not ignore the TB symptoms as 5000 people were becoming its victim daily, as second largest killers in the world.” he warned. Informing about health care schemes launched by centre government, he said that National Rural Health Mission, Janani Surakhsha Yojana and Rashatrya Swasthya Beema Yojna are successfully being implemented in the state, proving beneficial for people.
To reduce the Infant and Mother mortality rate he asked the people to always opt for institutional delivery as government was offering free treatment and even hospitalisation convince to carry pregnant woman to nearest health institution under JSY.
``Dr. Rajinder Prassad Medical Colleges Hospital at Tanda is well equipped where patients could be hospitalised with help of 108 ambulances assuring the people to bear all expanses on the delivery in the hospital `` BMO said informing state figure among few states had achieved 72 percent institutional delivery.

A healthy baby show was also organised to evaluate the progress and implementation of Integrated Child Development Scheme. Three year Krish of Jaisinghpur was declared halest baby out of 26 children followed by Harash(two half yrs) and Janavi(3yrs). Under the strong network of more than 18000 strong Aganwardies pregnant and lactating mothers have been given required free dietary components beside making available cooked food and quota of food grains to children before they join school. The people especially Anganwardi & Panchayati Raj representatives showed their keen interest in the campaign after taking information of centrally sponsored programs provided under a single roof through the medium of 25 stalls, speeches of resource persons, dance and play.
