National Unity Day Celebration at LPU

Jalandhar, October 31, 2019: Commemorating the 144th birth anniversary of first Deputy Prime Minister of India, Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel, as the National Unity Day, LPU School of Education organized 5 Kms long ‘Unity March’ procession in the campus. Holding placards and banners for United India, LPU students pledged to be ever unified for the dignity, decorum, development and discipline in the country. Commonly known as Sardar Patel aka Iron Man, he is credited for the merger of 560+ princely states into the Union of India.
