Ludhiana, October 2, 2019: It was indeed a matter of pride and a moment to imbibe, as DCM Presidency School's environmental initiative provided an extension to two initiatives formulated by the Government of India.
“Swatchta hi Seva” and “Plogging” were combined under a single, extensive environmental outreach drive initiated by DCM Presidency School, bringing the entire city of Ludhiana under its ambit.
The educative fraternity of DCM Presidency School alongside the charged-up student volunteers took up various areas within the city to rid the city from plastic waste whilst conveying the message of shunning the use of 'single use plastic' and promoting the use of recycled and environment friendly materials.
Principal Rajni Kalra appreciated the joint efforts of teachers and students and urged them to keep serving the community motherland.
