Myra Kohli is Jalandhar’s dancing star season 2
Jalandhar, August 27, 2019: It was a moment of thrill and tough competition when the stage of Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium was set on fire by the breath taking dance performances of 45 finalists of “Jalandhar Dancing Star Season 2”- a dance competition organised by CT Group of Institutions and Soul Shakerz Academy at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur campus. 97 contestants from four different states namely Punjab, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu gave the auditions. Out of which, 45 contestants competed in the finale of the event, under three different categories which are 6-12 years, 12-18 years and 18-24 years. The competition was adjudged by renowned personalities namely Rajan Aujla, International Bhangra Player, Shubhjeet Kaur and Princey Seth, leading choreographers. The top three winners of the category 6-12 years remained Myra Kohli, Seerat and Angadveer whereas winners of the category 12-18 are Akshita (First), Gloria (Second) and Sukhleen (Third) and of the category 18-24, the first prize was bagged by Simranjit Kaur, second by Simranjit Singh and Manisha Sharma, third. All the contestants gave a tough competition to each other under their respective categories. Rajan Aujla, one of the judges said, “It was a wonderful event organised in which participants performed extremely well. It became so confusing for us to select the top three winners of each category.” Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group said, “I congratulate all the winners and rest of the participants who made this event a grand success today. It was a pleasure to see participants coming from outside Punjab too in order to compete. I also thank the Chief Guest and judges for sparing their time and giving a fair judgment. I wish luck to the organizing team as well and wish to see similar big level events in the future too.” On the occasion, Harpreet Singh, Vice-Chairman, Campus Director Dr. GS Kalra, Dean Academics Dr. Anupamdeep Sharma and Davinder Singh, Cultural Officer were also present.
