Jalandhar/Ludhiana, September 1, 2012: BJP (Media Cell) State Convener Rajat Kumar Mohindru has demanded from the Divisional Manager, Northern Railway, Ferozepur to direct the Station Masters to ensure that the LED Display Boards (displaying the train number and the position of the coach) the train drivers be instructed to halt the train as per the coach number mentioned on the display board.

It has been witnessed that the train drivers some time halt the train behind the coach sequences , at this stage the major suffererss are the old age passengers who cannot run to enter their coach as the stoppage of the trains are just two minutes . The Station Masters should depute an officer who should regularly keep strict vigil on the trains halting positions as per the display board so that inconvenience is not faced by the rail rassengers in future.
