Meditation camp for hostel students
Jalandhar, December 6, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organized a One Week Meditation camp for the students of KMV hostel. The resource person for the camp was Acharya Sadanand. The aim of camp was to increase the concentration level of the students so that the students will be able to perform each and every task in their life efficiently. The camp was inaugurated by Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi by welcoming the esteemed resource person Acharya Sadanand. Sh. Dhruv Mittal, Treasurer, KMV Managing Committee was also present on the occasion. The camp witnessed active and zealous participation from the hostel students. The students practiced different meditation practices and were also informed in details about the benefits of meditation. Acharya ji enlightened the students as to how to increase the mental capacity of one's mind & how a person can stable her mind. The significance of reciting Gayatri mantra was also explained in detail. On the last day of the camp, question and answer session was also organized for the students in which students asked their queries and their queries were answered by the resource person very satisfactorily. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such workshops play a vital role in the overall development of the students. In today's competitive world, students should make meditation as part of their life so that they should be able to concentrate their mind properly. She further maintained that KMV from time to time organizes various yoga & meditation camps for the students as in KMV, proper care is provided to the healthy development of the students so that they should be able to live a healthy & stress free life.
