Gandhi Jayanti celebration at SMD School

Panchkula, October 1, 2019: SMD Little Champ Smart School, Sector 2, Panchkula celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with full-fledged campaigning of “Swachh Bharat, Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan”.

All the students, staff and other present in the function took a pledge that they will keep their surroundings clean and pollution free. The students made beautiful drawings on the theme of cleanliness, see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.

Arihant came dressed as Gandhiji. Viraj Singh of Mont I recited poem on Gandhiji.

Principal Deepika addressed the students throwing some light on the life and ideals of the “Father of the Nation” Mahatma Gandhi and on the importance of cleanliness. She motivated them to maintain their hygiene and health.

Director Naresh Gupta said that the function was a fruitful venture towards cleanliness.
