Students of KMV, Jalandhar who lift 2nd Runners up Trophy at Doaba Youth Fest.
Jalandhar, November 14, 2014: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Doaba Youth Festival team did their institution and training team proud by winning positions in nine events and lifting the 2nd Runners up Trophy at Doaba Youth Festival. The long list of first prizes began with the folk dance Giddha. Inderjit of PGDND won first prize in dry flower arrangement. Diksha of B.A. Sem. V’s poster was adjudged as the best and won first prize. Nidhi of B.A. (JMC) 3rd Sem. won the first prize for excellent photography. The Mime Team’s performance was adjudged 2nd. Fancy Dress of Gurpinder and Elocution by Ms. Barun Kaur adjudged third. Barun and Hema were also awarded consolation prize in Debate. The jubilant team was heartily congratulated by Principal Prof. Atima Sharma who pleasure lies in seeing young women in her institution empowering themselves with a wholesome and well-minded personality and learning extra skills alongwith academics. She also congratulated the faculty which had groomed the Youth Festival Team.
