Jalandhar, December 18, 2014: On 16 December, a most dastardly and inhumane act of violence against innocent school children was perpetrated. The massacre of 132 students of Army Public School, Peshawar, Pakisthan sent shockwaves throughout the civilised world.
The depravity of the zealots of the Taliban has been brought to the fore with this act of shameless cowardice.
Army Public School, Jalandhar Cantt held a candlelight vigil to express their solidarity with those who have lost their precious ones. Prayers were enunciated for the little souls whose lives were abruptly cut short by their horrendous act. The students avowed to come together and join the movement against the senseless barbarism.
The students observed two minutes silence to mourn and pray that departed souls rest in peace.
