KMV Cosmetology Department Students Outshine in Examination Results; Pooja stands first in MA Cosmetology

Jalandhar, February 14, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar's PG Department of Cosmetology student brought laurels to the institution by bagging top positions in exam results of MA in Cosmetology (Semester I), Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetology and Diploma in Cosmetology. In MA Cosmetology, Pooja bagged the first position by scoring 354/400 marks while Amrit bagged second position with 351/400 marks and Ranjit Kaur bagged the third position by scoring 336/400 marks. For PG Diploma in Cosmetology, Navjot Kaur bagged first position by scoring 278/300 marks, Natasha and Jyoti jointly bagged second position by scoring 244/300 marks while Navneet bagged third position by scoring 231/300 marks. The students of Diploma in Cosmetology also bagged top positions. Jasnoor Kaur was declared first with 177/200 marks, Kiranpreet Kaur bagged second position by scoring 173/200 marks and Sukhvinder Kaur bagged third position with 171/200 marks. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students on their achievements and averred that under the Autonomous Status, KMV is bringing a lot of reforms in the examination pattern of the students and these reforms will prove to be very beneficial for the students in the long run. She also lauded the efforts of faculty of Cosmetology Department. She also averred that the degrees will be given by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She further maintained that as KMV is the only college which runs MA in Cosmetology in this part of the region, the students who wish to pursue careers in Cosmetology stand to gain a lot from being a part of this prestigious course.
