Kids of Maple Bear visit to Sadar Police Station

Ludhiana, February 27, 2015: Maple Bear Canadian Playway & Nursery School, Ludhiana organised an educational tour to Sadar Police Station, Ludhiana.Students were told how the Police working which has become high-tech, use of computers & other gadgets in tracking the fraudsters. As Sadar Police Station is a model one & one of the few Police Stations which has got International acclaim. SHO of the Sadar Police Station Japinderjit Singh, ASI Davinder Singh and Mch. Harpal Singh were there to welcome kids & explained the kids about the working of the police Station & enjoyed the Company of the kids. They were also served eatables etc., by the Police team & Kids were told that Police were there to help them & they are their friends in need.

They were taken around the Suvidha Centre adjacent to police Station where Inspector S. Sardar Kulwant Singh Lehra explained the importance of Suvidha Centre .

Veena Aggarwal Principal of the school said “ We generally talk about these things to students but they cannot understand it properly till they see thing working and these trips are orgainsed to convey the right message.” With the educational tours kids talk about their experiences with teachers & parents when they see them in reality.

Things are learnt better & remembered is what Maple Bear is doing. It is breaking the monotonous style of teaching and learning. Children also learnt about the hardships the Police men.. Men in uniform were very interactive with the kids.
