Guru Kashi University Holds Job Fair

Talwandi Sabo, March 20, 2015: Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo organised a job fair in the Campus, in which students from surrounding educational institutions also participated. Arashdeep Singh, Training & Placement Officer of Guru Kashi University told that multinationals Companies named CSS Crop, Accenture, Dr IT Solutions and Tough Gear visited the campus to select Computer Application Graduates. Human Resource Managers from above said companies visited with their teams and shortlisted 32 students via process of Written Test, Technical Test, Group Discussion and Interview. 6 students from Guru Kashi College, Talwandi Sabo, 5 students from Regional Group of Colleges, Behman Diwana and 19 students of Guru Kashi University were shortlisted. As per Arashdeep Singh (TPO) these shortlisted students will have an interview round in the regional offices of the related companies and the final selected students will work as software developers and Technical supporters. 

Representatives from various colleges, who lead the students appreciated the placement programme by Guru Kashi University. 

Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University highly acclaimed the efforts of Training & placement Department for series of placement drives in the campus. He also added while congratulating the shortlisted students that Guru Kashi University is not only catering the needs of its own students but also serving with the objective to help the whole students community of the surrounding areas.
