Jobs for 23 Students of Guru Kashi University

Talwandi Sabo, April 27, 2015: Recently a job fair was organized at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo. Students from various colleges of the region participated in this activity. Arashdep Singh, Training and Placement Officer of GKU said that MNCs named Paramount Engineering, ARN Infotel visited to select the students of mechanical, Electrical and Computer Applications. Along with this Airtel selected the students via video conferencing. Eight students of Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic College, Talwandi Sabo, five students of Electrical Engineering of GKU and six students of Computer Applications were selected by the Human Resources Manager of the above said companies. On the spot offer letters were presented to the selected students by the Companies. Students will join the above said companies by the 1st week of June 2015. Arashdeep Singh T.P.O., GKU shared that the selected students will get an annual package between 1.5 lac-2.5 lac.

Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor, Guru Kashi University lauded the efforts of Placement Department for this placement activity and also congratulated the selected students. He also assured the conduction of campus placements regularly for all streams for the final year and pass out students. This will also serve the needs of the student community from this region, he added.

Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, managing Director appreciated the role of faculty for nourishing the students up to this level. He also assured every best possible support regarding the training, personality development and placement of the students. During the presentation of offer letters Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal, Dean Academic, GKU, Er. Sunny Arora, Principal, guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic College were also present to congratulate and to bless the selected students.
