Ludhiana, October 12, 2015: To mark the importance of International Day of Girl Child, BCM School NCC Cadets tookout a rally on Sunday. Prior to the rally, a Drawing and Painting Competition was conducted in the school and students worked on the issues like Female Foeticide, Child Marriage, Girl Education. Students made posters and placards on these issues and the same were used to support the cause of a girl child in India. Later carrying these placards in hands, raising slogans against injustice against girl child, NCC cadets took up the route of the surrounding roads of the school. Principal Mr.D.P Guleria appreciated the efforts of the NCC cadets to spread and support the awareness among general masses about the education and right of a girl child.
