Jalandhar, October 29, 2014: A two day Inter-Departmental competition IT-Spark-2014 in Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. Organised by P.G.Department of Computer Science and IT of the college. The tech-fest will have 20 technical and semi-technical events in 8 houses and 482 students displayed their technical skill and expertise in IT Spark-2014.

In her inaugural address Sardarni Balbir Kaur President college management reiterated the commitment of the college to quality education. Speaking to the present, college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that the technical education was the most desired thing in developing as well developed countries and it led to ample job opportunities, and with effective practical skills one could easily find for oneself good placement.

The Head of the Department Prof Manohar Singh informed that on the first day today, competitions were held in Idea Snapshot, Website Development, Logic Whirlpool, Pixel Plus, Net Savvy, IT in Colours, IT Collage, Hand on Keyboard, Tech-GD, Test Your technical skills and Choreography and on the second day competitions will be held in Debugging, IT Quize, Logo Designing, Gaming Zone, Software Showcase, IT Extempore, IT Rangoli, IT Cartooning and IT Ad-Mad Show. The occasion was witnessed by the presence of Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint secretary College Management, staff members and a large number of students.
