Students of HMV, Jalandhar who perform in a brilliant manner in GNDU Zonal & Inter Zonal Youth Festival.
Jalandhar, November 4, 2014: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya gave brilliant performance in Zonal and Inter Zonal Youth Festival held at GNDU Amritsar from October 12 to 15 and October 27 to 30, respectively. The college teams participated in various items and 22 items bagged First, Second and Third positions in the Zonal Youth Festival. 3 items Phulkari, Quiz and Giddha won First position. 6 items bagged second position. The items are Folk Orchestra, Folk Song, Classical Inst. (Non-Perc), Debate, On the spot painting and clay modelling. 13 items won Third position and the items are classical Dance, Classical Inst. (Perc), Western Solo and Group, Group Dance, Gazal, Vaar, Cartooning, Photography, Mime, One Act Play, Mimicry and Rangoli.
In Inter Zonal Youth Festival, Phulkari and Giddha bagged first position. Clay Modelling, Quiz, Folk Orchestra, Classical (Non-Perc) stood second. Folk Song and Debate won Third positions. Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated the Dean, Youth Welfare Deptt., all the item incharges and the participants on this wonderful success.
